low_scoreA misdiagnosis for my 6-year-old dog. I'm speaking beyond the immense pain our family is experiencing. I took her to the vet on Sunday because she had been unwell, panting and whining a lot. I thought it was her stomach because she wouldn't eat (I'm not a veterinarian, that's why I thought it might be her stomach). We took her to the vet, and the first thing the doctor asked—I don't know if it was Rodrigo—was if the dog bit. My dog was incredibly weak and had no energy; she was a poodle and a very young puppy because she never fully matured. He did an ultrasound and told me it was gastroenteritis and that her liver was inflamed. He gave her two injections and sent us home. My baby couldn't sleep all night. We asked the vet, and they said it was part of the treatment. She continued the same, even worse. We took her back on Monday, and another doctor examined her. She checked her lungs and stomach and saw that she was very agitated, and even then, she confirmed the gastroenteritis. She gave her injections and pills. My baby never improved. We sent a video of her whining and how she wouldn't stop. We complained, they told us to give her the pills, and yesterday, Tuesday, she passed away. She couldn't even breathe anymore. I know she was misdiagnosed because she never had vomiting or diarrhea (to be gastroenteritis), and it was very expensive because it was a long weekend; they charged us 160,000 pesos, and on top of that, they sent us to do a urine test for 96,000 pesos. I don't care about the money spent because she was our life, my Tini, but they were more concerned about the money than about what she really had. My daughters and I are devastated.
The worst veterinary clinic in Mendoza. Terrible service.
Very good and efficient service.

In my case, he was well cared for as both a dog and a cat.
